The international standard (ISO 14289) for accessible PDF documents. PDF/UA defines requirements for PDF content, PDF readers, and assistive technology to ensure accessible interaction with PDF documents. It builds on the existing PDF tag structure and requires proper reading order, alternative text, and logical document structure.
