Visual authoring

The process of creating or editing visual content such as images, graphics, videos, or layouts. Visual authoring has traditionally been one of the least accessible creative activities for blind and low vision users because it requires real-time visual feedback to evaluate and refine output. Emerging AI-powered tools are beginning to bridge this gap by providing non-visual verification through natural language descriptions, enabling BLV users to create and edit visual content with greater independence and creative control.
