Usability Barrier

A type of access barrier where a task can technically be completed but not with the desired qualities such as speed, ease, accuracy, or comfort. Unlike failure point barriers, the task is possible, but the experience of completing it is unsatisfactory. For example, a web page with poor heading structure may be technically navigable by a screen reader user but frustratingly slow and confusing. Addressing usability barriers means improving the quality of the accessible experience, not just making it technically possible.
