A collaborative arrangement between organizations from different sectors, such as universities, government agencies, nonprofits, and communities, working together toward shared goals. In assistive technology, cross-sector partnerships can combine academic research expertise with government distribution networks and community knowledge to create more effective and sustainable AT programs than any single sector could achieve alone.
