For blind users, text correction on mobile devices is significantly more challenging than text entry, as it requires navigating to the error location, understanding the surrounding context without visual cues, and performing precise editing operations. Research shows that traditional screen reader text correction can take up to three times longer than alternative multimodal approaches.
