Single Ease Question
Also known as: SEQ
A post-task usability metric consisting of a single 7-point rating scale question asking users how easy or difficult a task was to complete. The SEQ is widely used in usability studies because it is quick to administer, easy for participants to understand, and provides reliable data about perceived task difficulty. In accessibility research, SEQ ratings help compare the usability of different assistive technology approaches from the user perspective, complementing objective performance measures like task completion time.
