Workplace Accessibility
The degree to which work environments, processes, tools, and cultures enable disabled employees to perform their jobs effectively and participate fully in workplace life. Workplace accessibility extends beyond physical access and assistive technology to include accessible communication practices, inclusive meeting formats, flexible policies, non-discriminatory attitudes, and management approaches that support diverse work styles. True workplace accessibility requires systemic commitment rather than individual accommodation requests, recognizing that inaccessible workplaces are a design failure, not an individual problem to be solved case by case.
