Web Readability

The ease with which web content can be read and understood, encompassing both visual factors (typography, layout, color, responsive design) and linguistic factors (vocabulary, sentence complexity, content structure). Web readability has been the dominant focus of reading support technology research, with 37.62% of studies in the field targeting web-based content. Tools addressing web readability include browser extensions for customizable text presentation, plug-ins for text simplification, and accessibility toolbars that allow users to adjust visual parameters to their preferences.
