Digital Intervention

Also known as: Digital Health Intervention, Technology-Based Intervention

A health or behavioural support programme delivered through digital technology such as apps, games, or web platforms. Digital interventions for accessibility include cognitive training tools for people with ADHD, speech therapy apps, mental health chatbots, and gamified rehabilitation programs. They offer advantages over traditional interventions including scalability, real-time adaptation to user performance, consistent delivery, and the ability to collect data for progress tracking. In workplace settings, digital interventions can provide discreet, on-demand support for employees with disabilities without requiring disclosure to colleagues.
