WCAG 2.4 Navigable

Also known as: Guideline 2.4, Navigable Guideline

A guideline within the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) under the Operable principle that requires web content to provide ways to help users navigate, find content, and determine where they are. Its success criteria address bypass blocks (skip navigation links), page titles, focus order, link purpose, multiple ways to find pages, headings and labels, and visible focus indicators. Meeting these criteria ensures that users, particularly those relying on assistive technologies like screen readers or keyboard-only navigation, can efficiently move through and orient themselves within web content.
