QualWeb

Also known as: QualWeb Evaluator

An open-source automated web accessibility evaluation tool developed at the University of Lisbon that tests web pages against WCAG success criteria and ACT Rules. QualWeb is notable for being among the first accessibility evaluation tools to incorporate semantic analysis capabilities, enabling it to assess not just the presence but the quality of accessibility features such as alt text descriptions. It can be used as a browser extension, command-line tool, or integrated into automated testing pipelines.
