Linked Data

Also known as: Linked Open Data, LOD

A method of publishing structured data on the web so that it can be interlinked and queried across different sources using Semantic Web technologies such as RDF, URIs, and SPARQL. Linked Data principles enable disparate datasets — for example, transport accessibility information from different agencies — to be connected into a unified, machine-readable knowledge graph. This approach is particularly valuable for accessibility because relevant data about physical spaces, services, and accommodations is often fragmented across multiple organisations and formats.
