IMS AccessForAll

Also known as: AccLIP, IMS Accessibility for LIP, AccessForAll

A specification from IMS Global Learning Consortium that defines how to describe learner accessibility preferences and match them with appropriate learning resources. IMS AccessForAll extends the IMS Learner Information Package (LIP) with detailed accessibility preference categories including display preferences, control preferences, and content preferences such as alternatives to visual content, alternatives to text, alternatives to auditory content, learner scaffolding, and personal stylesheets. The framework enables e-learning systems to automatically adapt content delivery based on individual accessibility needs rather than requiring separate, disability-specific platforms.
