Bibliometric analysis

The quantitative study of scientific literature using statistical methods to analyse publication patterns, citation networks, authorship trends, and research impact. In accessibility research, bibliometric analysis has been used to map the evolution of the field, identify key themes and contributors, and understand how accessibility knowledge is produced and disseminated. Common metrics include citation counts, h-index, co-citation networks, and the disruptiveness index.
