Web Accessibility Barrier Score

Also known as: WAB, WAB Score

A quantitative metric for measuring the accessibility level of a website, defined as the mean value of the failure rate of accessibility checkpoints on a page, weighted by the priority of each checkpoint. The failure rate is the number of violations of a checkpoint divided by the maximum number of possible violations that checkpoint can have. WAB provides a single numerical score summarizing a site's accessibility barriers, making it useful for benchmarking and comparison across sites or over time.
