Likert Scale
Also known as: Likert-type Scale, Rating Scale
A psychometric scale commonly used in surveys and questionnaires where respondents indicate their level of agreement with a statement, typically using options ranging from "strongly disagree" to "strongly agree." In accessibility research, Likert scales are frequently used to measure user satisfaction, perceived usability, and subjective experiences with assistive technologies. However, research has shown that people with disabilities may exhibit positive response bias when using these scales, potentially inflating usability ratings compared to objective performance measures.
