Aging in Place

The ability to live in one's own home and community safely, independently, and comfortably regardless of age, income, or ability level. For accessibility practitioners, supporting aging in place means designing technologies that accommodate changing abilities, integrate with home environments, and connect older adults with healthcare and social services while respecting privacy and autonomy.
