Face Tracking

Also known as: Facial Tracking, Face Detection and Tracking

A computer vision technology that detects and follows the position and movement of a user's face in real time using a camera or depth sensor. In accessibility, face tracking enables hands-free computer interaction for people with motor disabilities who cannot use traditional input devices like a mouse or keyboard but retain head and facial control. Consumer devices such as webcams and depth sensors can provide face tracking capabilities, making this form of assistive input affordable and non-intrusive.
