Inclusive Learning

Also known as: Inclusive Education Design, Accessible Learning

An educational approach that ensures all learners, including those with disabilities, can fully participate in and benefit from learning activities and materials. Inclusive learning involves designing curricula, content, and delivery methods that accommodate diverse abilities, learning styles, and access needs from the outset rather than retrofitting accommodations. In online and digital contexts, this includes creating accessible learning management systems, providing materials in multiple formats, captioning multimedia, and ensuring compatibility with assistive technologies.
