Bounce Keys

An operating system accessibility feature that introduces a brief delay after a key press during which the same key cannot be reactivated. This prevents bounce errors — unintentional repeated presses of the same key caused by tremor, spasm, or difficulty in cleanly releasing keys. The delay duration can be adjusted to match the individual user's needs. Bounce Keys is distinct from Repeat Keys: Bounce Keys addresses the gap between separate key presses, while Repeat Keys addresses how long a single press must be held before repeating begins.
