Piezo Vibrator

Also known as: Piezoelectric Vibrator, Piezoelectric Actuator

A device that converts electrical signals into mechanical vibrations using the piezoelectric effect, commonly used in tactile displays and haptic feedback systems for assistive technology. Piezo vibrators can be arranged in arrays to create tactile patterns that convey spatial or structural information through the fingertips. In accessibility applications, arrays of piezo-driven pins can represent information such as web page layouts, data visualizations, or braille characters by vibrating at different frequencies to encode different types of content.
