Conversational Programming
Also known as: natural language programming, LLM-driven scene modification
Conversational programming is a paradigm in which users modify software behaviour or digital environments through natural language dialogue with an AI system, rather than through traditional developer-defined controls, menus, or code. In accessibility contexts, conversational programming enables users to dynamically personalize their experience — adjusting object sizes, colors, spatial arrangements, or audio properties in real time — without requiring developer intervention or knowledge of programming syntax. This approach is particularly promising for users with disabilities whose accessibility needs are highly individualized and context-dependent, and who may find fixed accessibility presets insufficient or misaligned with their specific requirements.
