Xbox Controller Assist

Also known as: Xbox Copilot

A Microsoft software feature (formerly called Xbox Copilot) available on Xbox consoles and Windows PCs that links two physical controllers so they behave as a single controller — any input from either pad is treated as if it came from one player. It is explicitly advertised as an accessibility feature for playing cooperatively with a friend or family member, and is the most widely used commercial implementation of human shared control for video games.
