OrCam
Also known as: OrCam MyEye, OrCam Read
A family of wearable assistive devices made by OrCam Technologies that use a camera and on-device AI to read printed text aloud, identify faces and products, and recognize colors and banknotes for blind and low vision users. The flagship OrCam MyEye clips magnetically to the arm of eyeglasses and is triggered by a pointing finger gesture or by directing the user's gaze at the target, delivering audio output through a small speaker near the ear. OrCam is frequently cited in accessibility research as a benchmark for finger-tip-based information access, alongside FingerReader, VizLens, and similar finger-mounted or head-mounted reading aids.
