White Glove Service

A hospitality concept denoting personalized, detail-oriented service characterized by five qualities: anticipatory assistance (acting before being asked), discretion and privacy, attention to detail, personalization, and seamless problem resolution. In accessibility and assistive-robotics design, the metaphor has been proposed as a model for systems serving people with disabilities in public contexts — the goal is not maximum automation but service that preserves the user's dignity and social role while blending into the background.
